fannish interests: a bit more in-depth

I've been in fandom for more than a decade as of writing this, and that's a lot of time to try and condense into a paragraph for an About Page. I wanted to give myself more space to really get into it, and for anyone interested in the same stuff I am to get a feel of where I tend to pitch my flag. :D
a brief history in fandom
I've tried to log my history (incompletely at this point probably) to provide a bit of a picture for what I've been up to in 'public' fannish spaces so if you're interested in a bit more detail regarding this, check that out. To summarise, though: I joined fandom in 2009 thanks to Twilight (ffn), and from there wrote for that for a year or two, then started writing original fiction regularly (and posting it online on a forum for that sort of stuff), before re-discovering anime and falling headfirst into Fairy Tail (ffn). I wrote for that for a few years (and will love it forever), before sports anime kidnapped me, and I got hard into Haikyuu!! (twitter; with iwaoi at the mast). This was 3-4 years ago.
Never comfortable on tumblr and even less so on twitter, I took a long break and took to private channels for fandom (private DMs with friends, mostly) and got into Boku no Hero Academia (ao3; todobaku and gen dragging me in). As of the last year, I'd say my most active fannish spaces are my private twitter, this dreamwidth journal, and discord for private DMs (I don't get along with fandom servers, alas).
I love having direct or one-to-one conversations about the stuff I love. Private messages, tiny group chats, and comments on here are my comfort zone. As for how I participate in fandom: as said in my brief intro post, I write, lurk, read, and squee with friends. That's a very happy place for me. :)
current interests (what i think about making stuff for regularly)
transformers: megop, soundwave, starscream
I very recently got into tf, within the last year, and I'm utterly obsessed. I'm taking my time consuming the hundreds of hours of canon content (god bless) and hunting down fics that resonate with me. My favourite characters are Optimus Prime, Megatron, Soundwave, and Starscream. I'm big into megOP, but I also like and will read for any mix of those four characters. Soundwave/Jazz caught my interest and has never let go; and Starscream is... I don't have words for how much I love this ridiculous bitchy second in command.
I always end up going back to Optimus and Megatron, though; I'm a massive sucker for narratives that explore social injustice, inequality, and the fight for a fair; I also adore paladins (speaking of tbtrpg) and Optimus and Megatron are both archetypical of that class of warrior. Slow burn and enemies to friends to lovers are my favourite space and again, megOP occupies it beautifully. On any given day, you can find me lamenting about one or both of them, listening to old break-up songs.
I've also always loved robots, kaiju/giant things, and aliens/anything to do with space. tldr: transformers literally ticks almost all of my boxes (the one box left over: Where Are The Women For My Gay Heart To Love)
my hero academia: todobaku, gen
I've always been huge on genfic, being one of my favourite things to write and read ever. This manganime captured that same feeling that fairy tail did for me all those years ago (and continues to, to be fair); there's so many amazing characters and infinite potential for wonderful interesting emotional interactions and relationships between them all. I also really love the complicated rival dynamic that Todoroki and Bakugou and Midoriya have, and I'm soooo here for Todoroki and Bakugou getting together and their friendship with Midoriya being utterly integral to them getting together and all that. He's their best friend, after all. :') I like to write all sorts of aus for todobaku; I love their dynamic and exploring the potential relationships they could share (romantic or not). I have some long canon fics in me too, which one day I might get to writing down hahaha.
star wars: darth vader, obi wan kenobi
Listen I just really really really love Darth Vader and if you talk to me for an extended amount of time you are going to hear daddy vader jokes. Stars Wars universe is home to me, I grew up with it more than anything else, and the fantasy fairy-tale feeling in a gritty sci-fi setting paved the way for my entire personality since I was three and my big brother gave me a Darth Vader action figure. Anyway, I'm a sucker for redemption, and for family stories, so Darth Vader bonding with Luke and Leia is always my go-to. I love obikin's dynamic and Obi-Wan is my second favourite so again, that's a given. I want Leia to be a jedi and will brook no argument. I love Star Wars. Always.
some otps i've collected
fandoms (gen-erally speaking)
other interests that are sort of fannish?
I've also played some Cthulhu and want to try out Numenera and SW one day. Sci-fi fix, yes please.
