[sticky entry] Sticky: an updated hello!

quietmoon: A screencap of Jiji, the black cat from Kiki's Delivery Service (Default)
It's been a while since I wrote my sticky welcome post. Here's an updated hello. :)

My name is Biv. I live in a rainy place in Scotland with my two cats, Luna and Blue. I used to write a lot of fanfic. Nowadays my creative energies are more diffused, but telling stories remains my favourite thing to do. This journal began as a fannish endeavour but has since evolved into a repository for whatever I'm in the mood for; there's not much rhyme or reason to when and what about I post, but if you're interested you're very welcome here!

Old and new loves include tabletop rpgs (especially Free League- & indie-published), video games (Mass Effect, Overwatch), TV shows (Transformers, AtLA, Firefly), animanga (BnHA, shoujo), books, and movies. I also love history and science and learning new things. And I really love Darth Vader.

Access Policy: I lock most negative and personal posts. But I love making friends! Let me know if you'd like access or to introduce yourself - comments on this post are screened, so feel free to say hi.

Blanket Fanworks Statement: I love and welcome any fanworks based on my own (no permission necessary) provided they're non-commercial and credited somewhere (e.g. posting as a related work on AO3). You're welcome to go as wide or narrow as you wish; I remix my own stuff all the time. ♡

My fic is all archived on [archiveofourown.org profile] quietmoon, and I'm sometimes around on [twitter.com profile] soundywaves and [tumblr.com profile] spicysoba. For regular IMs I exclusively use discord.

Lovely to meet you, and have a good day. ♡ヾ(^∇^)

I've been watching the live action Avatar: The Last Airbender show and liveblogging my reaction. I'm about halfway through, but that post is coming soon probably. In the meantime, it's got me listening to this beautiful orchestral cover of Leaves From The Vine. And occasionally tearing up. And crying. Oh, I love Uncle Iroh so much. There's also this amazing AMV (do we still call them that? fan edit?) called Uncle Iroh - Father, but it's chock full of spoilers. But what's cool is the actor portraying Uncle Iroh even commented on the video saying how much he loved it. How cute is that? Anyway, it also made me cry (the video, not the comment!) so of course I recommend watching it.

Cool things happening at [community profile] promptmepromptly where writers can sign up to offer what they'll accept requests on. Once all prompt-requests are in, it'll be time for request-prompting! Sign-ups close 9th March.

Baldur's Gate Gift Exchange sign-ups closing on 10th March. I was delighted to see this one because it reminded me of how much fun I had playing the first two acts of BG3 (at a frankly absurdly slow and thorough pace - 100 hours!? how...) last year.

[community profile] bethefirst is open! I'm going to give it a try this year for Sweden Roll's Coriolis seasons. (You can listen to the first podcast episode here if you're curious!) Although, it is nerve-wracking to be writing fic for someone else's ttrpg character... But then I look at the critical role fandom and I'm like, nah, not so nervous anymore. It's not like any of the cast will ever see my silly little fic (crosses fingers desperately).

The kickstarter for Cats of Catthulhu 10th Anniversary Edition launched. It looks really cute. I have PDFs of the original; I wonder if I can pull a game together before the deadline in a bit under a month in case I want to support this. Super doubtful, but I might try if the body cooperates in March. I'm finding it hard to predict what I will and won't have time for with my weird energy levels lately. (Nevermind that it was one of my resolutions to not buy any more RPGs...! It's got eldritch cats!)

I ran a oneshot for There's Something Under The Ice which was awesome! I watched The Thing and read (half of) At The Mountains of Madness in preparation, but ended up mostly inspired by the Carrion video game (at least for the monster). It's a simple but fun system, and I found the DM section really helpful in developing the monster and outpost. I added a homebrew rule lifted wholesale from the Alien RPG of giving each player a different secret related to their chosen role on the facility (engineer, scientist, etc). Players loved having their own secret agenda that they could reveal as and when they'd like to, and investigate for themselves. I'm running the same oneshot again twice this weekend (my scheduling failed me orz) so fingers crossed it goes smoothly again! And fits in one session this time! O_O

This might be incredibly niche, but for those who like ASMR and also mouth sounds and whispering, I really recommend this ASMR video. I've been obsessed. But I can't really listen to it and do other things at the same time because I get too sleepy lol.

I thought I wasn't going to have enough to post here, but actually this is a respectable list. Heck yeah.
quietmoon: A screencap of Jiji, the black cat from Kiki's Delivery Service (Default)
i surprised myself by absolutely devouring my libby bookshelf in january. february saw me slow down as i got distracted by other things and ended up reading lots of tabletop rpgs instead. which i suppose are still books, but i'm not counting them anyway lol. if they don't go on my goodreads they don't go in the recap. i was inspired by [personal profile] octahedrite to include a ✨ for particular recs. :)

romances big and small, gut-punch memoirs, crimes, cthulhu, etc. )

all in all, an enjoyable start to the year! more updates to come in late spring. :)
quietmoon: Animated artwork of a rotating sun. (sunshine)
Prompt 2: Orange — Orange is a warm color that is associated with a variety of things including: excitement, vitality, invincibility, speed, vigilance, dedication, loyalty, family, success, friendship, power, change, harvest, and warmth. Orange can be the warm sunrise after after the darkest night. It can be the bountiful harvest at the end of your hard work. When was a time where dedication and vigilance have reaped their rewards? What future harvests excite you? Please feel free to answer in whichever way comes naturally to you, be it a memory you share or an artwork you create.

Vitality shows in not only the ability to persist but the ability to start over. — F. Scott Fitzgerald

I sat on this for a few days trying to get to the heart of what the colour orange evoked for me. My mind would immediately go to inky blue with orange shining out of it, and I'm realising now how much my internalised imagery has to do with space lmao. So yeah, orange to me is the sun. It's fire and heat and burning — not as seen from Earth, but closer up, dominating the scene. Fire definitely leans more into orange than red to me for some reason.

So orange makes me think of heat, and something sizzling at the corners until it's all burned away. It makes me think of light in darkness, and change — unwanted or wanted, good and bad, unexpected and pursued. Here's a video of the sun closer up to show what I mean. :) Sooo beautiful.

And here's a fic inspired by 'orange' that got way out of hand, this time for Soundwave and Jazz in Transformers: Prime verse. *finger guns*

Okay, I keep jabbering about this in various conversations, I'm just gonna go ahead and do it okay here we go uhhh I'm going to host a weekly watchparty of the upcoming Transformers show airing on Netflix at the end of July. ^_^ The episodes all drop at once as they are wont to do on Netflix, but I miss the weekly format, so rather than binge-watching it all at once, I'll be watching it weekly, and invite anyone interested to join in. The more the merrier!
  • Format: A weekly journal post for each episode where anyone who wants to can talk about the show, theories, reactions, etc. in their own time. The aim is to try foster the same excitement and sense of community weekly-airing shows had.
  • Watching: Part 1: Siege of the upcoming Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy. The 6-episode animated series drops on Netflix on 30th July. Here's the trailer and the show on Netflix. It's rumoured to be a return to a darker more mature TF show; the last we had was Transformers: Prime which was hugely popular, so my fingers are crossed that this will be good, too!
  • Who can participate? This is completely open to both long-term fans and those new to the franchise. You don't need to have watched or read any Transformers to understand this show, as it is a stand-alone. It might be cool for those who are vaguely interested in TF but have no idea where to start since it's so new, and is promised to be a trilogy.
This is just an interest check to see if anyone would be on board, has wanted to get into TF but doesn't know where to start, has any questions, etc. Please let me know! I think this could be really fun if even maybe three or four people would be down to join me ^_^ I initially was going to just liveblog this for myself but then I thought "What if... friends?" so!! Yeah, let me know! :D *rubs hands together* I'm so excited, please someone come be excited about alien robots with me.

I realise 30th July is still a fair bit away, and I might try throw up something for a movie or such in the interim (and I would love after it to continue with some other TF shows if there's any interest in it *coughs* G1 *coughs* TFP) but I wanted to make sure to give people ample warning. Baby steps.

And then some more general fannish things: [community profile] sunshine_challenge is on the horizon; [community profile] juletide nominations are open; the OTW made a statement about its role in fandom regarding racism; the [community profile] wipbigbang is on it's second round of art claims; and [community profile] fandomgiftbox is officially live!

More simply general things: I've been enjoying Older by Ben Platt (his vocals are gorgeous), A Better Son/Daughter by Rilo Kiley (which hit me right in the heart), and Bayou by Mountains of the Moon (which not only stabbed me in the heart but also made me think of megop in the process); I've revisited my old inspiration tumblr [tumblr.com profile] moonflours and I think there's a lot of lovely stuff on there; Skill Up's review of The Last of Us 2, unfortunately, lined up almost exactly with my own thoughts on the game (specifically the phrase 'suffering porn'); and this Britney Spears Megamix was fantastic.

The world is frightening right now. A lot of shitty stuff is happening and has been going on for a very long time, and the people in charge keep disappointing us or worse. It's important to let the good into our lives and have some time in the spotlight too, now more than ever. That's what I think, anyway. Sending you all good vibes and hugs. ♥

I need to voice my frustrating and discomfort with Marisha and Matt appropriating Maori culture for Keyleth's people.

Some twitter threads:
And I'm getting the sense that maybe later Marisha acknowledges this and apologises (although the poster of the tweets wasn't entirely happy with it I think) but didn't ask any of the fans to stop using it as well? I can't speak to future events, but just watching this through right now as a poc who knows what's happening is so uncomfortable. I love Avatar and elemental druidic magic, but every time someone uses kaitiake incorrectly and inappropriately I get taken completely out of the moment and it ruins the interactions tbh. Which (on top of being, you know, cultural appropriation) sucks because she's my favourite character. TvT

I love CR, but it's very white, and you definitely feel it while watching.

I see two main themes in FMA: desire, and death. Through different characters' journeys, motivations, and eventual fates, it explores these themes from a bunch of different viewpoints. I think it takes quite a pessimistic stance, having a fair bit to say about the inevitability of tragedy in human desire, but we'll get to that. The main discussions of theme don't include the ending in Conqueror of Shamballa, but I'll touch on that at the end. (ღゝ◡╹)ノ♡ 。゚・

spoilers for the whole thing. like, so many spoilers. All The Spoilers. )
quietmoon: A screencap of Jiji, the black cat from Kiki's Delivery Service (Default)
I wrote this while watching episodes 1 - 51 and the movie Conqueror of Shamballa, mostly binge-watching with breaks in between long sessions. I haven't watched FMA:B or read the manga, but I did watch this show long ago (not the whole movie though I think).

Overall, I really liked FMA! You can tell I was getting progressively disillusioned with the logical leaps in the plot, especially in the latter half, but once I'd finished I could appreciate the show as a whole and forgive my grievances with the actual story in favour of the thematic coherency, which was *chef's kiss* so good. I have a lot of thoughts about how those themes tie together, so I'll try finish up the meta post I'm writing on this soon! I feel like it probably should be read straight after this in order to get a proper idea of my thoughts on the show.

Anyway! As always, spoilers abound, and off we go~

*clasps hands* I have finally gotten to the end of my reading page. I wish it went on past the last two weeks, since I know I've missed a lot even before then, but maybe it's a blessing in disguise lol. At least now I can say I'm relatively caught up.

Calling all BIPOC — [personal profile] goss
But over the years, many BIPOC have left these platforms or Fandom altogether. And I really miss having those kinds of interactions, and hearing these particular voices.
I'm curious about how many of us are out here still, whether actively posting on DW or simply lurking. Maybe you are wondering too! So I am putting up this poll, in the hopes of reaching out to and connecting with as many BIPOC fans here on DW as possible.

Signal Boost: Discussions of racism in fandom, and what to do about it in regards to OTW/AO3 — [personal profile] muccamukk
I haven't read this yet, but I'm throwing it here so I remember to.

And lots of events and such happening, too:
  • [community profile] sunshine_challenge is starting on 1st July! It's no secret that I love this challenge and it's chilly sibling, and I'm excited to participate and maybe make some friends next month! (Maybe I'll even participate during the actual event for once. Who knows.) If you want to hit the ground running, the comm has a post on journal housekeeping with a neat little checklist up right now.
  • [community profile] indie_games has opened! I am beyond excited to see some video game chat happening on here! I have my old personal gaming comm but it's been due an overhaul for ages. I might scrap it all together and throw all my gaming stuff on here or, now that indie-games exists, there! If you got the Itch bundle this comm might be of particular interest to you, as the games from there are the focus right now.
  • [community profile] hc_bingo sign-ups for Round 11 are open! I haven't participated before, but the deadline is generous (up to January, with amnesty extending into June) and I did tweet the other day about taking a break from my longer projects and taking a stab at a prompt list to fight writing nerves. *rubs chin*
  • [community profile] fandomgiftbox sign-ups close on 21st June. Looks very fun ♥
  • A Femslash Creating Fest is running on [personal profile] elasticella's journal until 22nd September, with the possibility of continuing after. I wasn't initially thinking I'd participate, but then I saw this keyleth/raishan prompt, and my mind completely ran away with me... I'll try, at least!
  • [community profile] recthethingThis is a comm for reccing fanworks you love and requesting recs for fanworks you're looking for. This looks to be a more general reccing comm as compared to the specific/themed ones I've seen so far. Definitely of interest to me.
  • [community profile] fffc is running a 100 Prompt Challenge with lots of different tables. The 'weird ao3 tags' table in particular caught me eye lmao.

For those also participating in [community profile] getyourwordsout, reminder that the deadline to change pledges is 23rd June. After pledging unrealistically high the past few years, I decided to go with 150k for this year, and the way things are turning out, I'm considering moving a step down from that too to 75k. xD I'm not wholly decided yet but I'm thinking about it.
quietmoon: Starscream looking dejected. (sadscream)
I wanna talk about writing fic — specifically, about the challenges I face when trying to.

I've mentioned before about taking a long break from both fandom and writing. I bunch those two together because for me, especially in the circumstances directly preceding said break, those were inextricably intertwined. But this post isn't to talk about the break itself (even though I definitely will have more to say on it at some point); I've recently started trying to write fic regularly, and my god, it's hard. I've broken some of the problems I've come across down into conveniently organised headings:

Sprinting a Marathon )

Sprinting a Hike )

Backseat Drivers )

Writing Right )

But I'm trying to write. And I'm going to continue trying.

My solution to all of these are as follows: write more, post more, and do it all (as much as you can) for yourself. Don't think of the final result: think of now, and of the story being told, and the satisfaction that brings. Because you love writing. You are a writer — there are no other qualifiers to this label other than to simply write. So do that. Write. Let yourself write that long first chapter all about backstory that you're afraid people didn't click to read. Take all the words and the time you need to write the story you want to write. Nobody can write that fic but you; so at least let it be your own, before it is somebody else's.

And every time the worry rears up — right now, at the beginning, middle, and end of every sentence — I'll come back and read that paragraph, and remind myself of what really matters. And hopefully, doing it often enough for long enough will help it set in as a habit to overwrite the old painful ones. Practice makes permanent.

I only have 3 stories in BNHA, so I feel a bit silly for making a masterlist for it... but nonetheless, here we are. I'll probably post more fic for this fandom at some point, so we shall see if I can't pad this list out a little. ( ̄︶ ̄;)

I've posted almost every day for the past week, omg. I'm sorry if anyone's getting tired of seeing me pop up repeatedly in their reading feed. I have to say, though, it is so nice to be back on here more regularly. Like a breath of fresh air.

The last week:

- I have vague memories of promising [personal profile] enemytosleep  that I would sign up for [community profile] intoabar this year, so here I am. (I'm so excited/worried to see who Grog will meet lmao). Sign ups are open until the 17th. :)
- I finally finished writing my entries for the [community profile] sunshine_challenge  from last year! It did wonders to put me in a good mood, and get me excited for both writing (slash engaging with fandom more, generally) and this year's coming prompts. All my entries are tagged on my blog.
- I wrote a post on here almost every day! I know I apologised for that already, but it also makes me happy. I'm hoping it'll help ease me back into writing fic, too. *crosses fingers*

Cool stuff:

- Little Legend by NikAudio — It makes me think of that montage you see after people overcome the first hurdle (in an underdog fantasy war, you know) and start working together to fortify their stronghold. (This is very specific. Alright, I'm talking about my longfic wip.)
- International Gaming Podcast — A weekly two-ish hour gaming podcast hosted by ACG on Fridays. Although I wonder if the humour in general is more of an acquired taste (I've watched his reviews on YouTube for years so I don't notice anything anymore aksdjh) he's made a point of trying to be empathetic and talk about what positive things are going on right now.
- I Have Never Loved Someone the Way I Love You by My Brightest Diamond"you're okay. you're okay. you're okay."
- WisCONline — I just heard about this from [personal profile] tozka  and it looks so neat. I'd never be able to attend normally, given the oceans between us, so I'm looking forward to the unique opportunity. SFF + feminism is a call I shall always heed. Registration is open until the 20th.
- The Banned Together Bingo is open for sign-ups until 30th May. I'm no good with deadlines, but since not meeting won't affect anyone but myself, I definitely have my eye on this.

Working on:

Work, work, work .__. Want to write fic, cannot write fic, am frustrated. Not long to go though before I can justify doing things. I am counting down the days. I did finally put together a roleplaying community for a ship my friend and I accidentally stumbled onto in our last DND campaign. We are slowly but surely getting that filled up with more than a year's worth of lore and AUs. It's really fun; I've never RPed or collaborated with anyone before, and creatively we mesh well. (I mean. Socially, too. Obviously.)
quietmoon: Animated artwork of a rotating sun. (sunshine)
Prompt 7: Be Your Own Light — we invite everyone to reflect and share what things you love about yourself.

I thought pretty hard about what I wanted to write for this prompt. There were a lot of answers that were eventually vetoed, and I even wrote out a whole answer that I later deleted. It just didn't feel right.

I've got one now, though, that does: I love how enthusiastic I am. I'm a warm person with a lot of passion and love to give, and when I make up my mind to persevere at something, I put 100% of myself into it. I can be very stubborn and fiery and intense, but I think sometimes those are great things to be: to be determined, and passionate, and driven by powerful emotions and beliefs.

Actually, this is something I struggle with, too. A lot of the time, it feels like a terrible thing, something that I ought to hide, and I find myself considering ways to tone down my language, to come across as more distant or detached. I don't like the idea that people find me too intense or too... well, anything. The idea that being yourself never means being too much is something I'm still trying to internalise. And I know I can — hell, often do — come across as far too cold, because humans are complex and contain multitudes and innate irrationality. But when I sit down and think about whether I'd like to live my life as someone who held back for fear of pain or ridicule, or someone who lived too much — too loudly and fiercely — it's clear to me which side of that coin I want to land on.

Life is exciting. Life is full of things that are worthy of pouring oneself into, and of being passionate about. Being excited about things is nothing to be ashamed of — being a fan is something to be proud of. And if my way of living means putting all my heart into whatever I'm doing, then I think that's pretty neat.

(hehe look at that i came full circle 100% by accident, /slides on shades/ nice)

If you are able to share your post in some way, we also invite you to ask your friend list to comment and add things they love about you as well. You may well be surprised by the results. I would like to add to this — please consider adding something you love or are trying to appreciate more about yourself. ♥ I know this isn't easy for a lot of people though, so no pressure. I would just love to hear. (ღゝ◡╹)ノ♡ 。゚・
quietmoon: Animated artwork of a rotating sun. (sunshine)
Prompt 5: Fulfill A Wishlist Item for Someone Else — we invite everyone to embark on something of a fannish scavenger hunt!

I commented on some fic, said hello to someone new, and followed some new journals. :) I also tried writing my own wishlist, and now I understand why I had trouble finding them on other journals; they're so hard to write! This prompt also got me thinking, though, that I'd like to set up a requests post of some sort — I would like to grant some wishes outside this challenge, too. So look out for that coming soon. ^_^

Prompt 6: Share Fannish Collections — we invite everyone to share fun fannish things they have collected over the years, be they physical items, stories, photos, or links.

Until two or three years ago, I had a rule for myself that I was quite strict with that I wouldn't buy any at all. A mix of lack of money, lack of space, worry for my own hoarding tendencies, and an innate comfort within a more minimalist living space led to me concluding that I just shouldn't let myself start buying things, because if I started I'd never stop. (In hindsight, I think part of this was to make myself feel better about being unable to really buy any of the stuff I wanted haha.)

I've since laxed on that rule — although I'm still careful about what I buy and how much I want it, my slowly growing collection of nerdy memorabilia brings me lots of happiness (and my 'Darth Vader daddy shrine' has become somewhat of favourite amongst my friends). Right now, I'm actually in the middle of redecorating! Now that I have all these prints and posters and keyrings (so many keyrings, what did I think I was going to do with them all?...), I want to put them somewhere I can see them.

So, as everything is very messy right now, and I don't know where anything is, my answer for this prompt shall honour my old rule. Rather than sharing various gadgets and gizmos aplenty, I'd like to share some the story of my first fandom friend group. ♥ When I think about what I've collected in fandom that brings me the most joy, it's always the friendships I come to first, and my first experience with this was on FFn.net with a group I now refer to as 'the tumbleweeds'.

quietmoon: Animated artwork of a rotating sun. (sunshine)
Prompt 4: Fanwork Recommendations — we invite everyone to share with others the fanfics, fanart, fanvids, cosplays … anything and everything fannish that you love and wish to share!

Aw yis, my favourite type of prompt 8) Here are a few things I have loved recently.

In Defence of Amy and Laurie • Little Women (2019) • Meta (Video Essay)
I love this channel! It has a lot of thoughtful video essays that don't take two hours out of your day. This movie hit me hard (my friend kept laughing at me for gasping and crying too loudly in the cinema) and the book is firmly situated in my childhood, so to see people — especially those who don't hold the same nostalgia for it that I do — appreciate and think critically about the movie makes me happy. Amy is also my favourite character in the film, so meta about her is right up my alley. If you've seen the movie, I'd say this is a worthwhile watch for sure.

The Whole Plate: Film Studies through a Lens of Transformers • Transformers (Bayverse) • Meta (Video Essay)
If you've ever been curious about movies — directing, script-writing, analysis — this is a really good watch. It explores, through the absurdity that was the Michael Bay Transformers adaptations, various film study basics like critical theory, representation, and videography. You don't have to be a fan of Transformers (or have watched all of Bayverse) to appreciate this series. It's educational, and interesting, and also very validating/satisfying if you are a TF fan. Lindsey Ellis is a general recommendation from me because I love her stuff, but this is in particular, I think, is not something to be missed.

This viva la revolution art is my phone background • Transformers: Prime x IDW2005 • Art (MegOP)
I can't even put into words how much I love this art. TFP Megatron and IDW1 Optimus both fit very specifically into a niche Type of mine (giant angry buff idiot) and the idea of them meeting up and going absolutely fucking mental is the funniest thing to me. They would validate and encourage each other's worst habits. They'd be such besties, spreading chaos and carnage all in the name for their vision, I can't even— I love it so goddamn much. It's horrifying and hilarious and tailor-made to my tastes. (This artist's other works are also phenomonal, btw! For example, check out their human!Megatron. *swoons*)

Paragon • Transformers • Fic (MegOP, 7k)
Oh man, this made me feel things. The tension is thick enough to cut with a knife, the characterisation is subtle, the pace controlled, and the writing has such a beautiful melancholy quality. Megatron as an unreliable narrator feeling all the things and trying to convince himself that he has never felt a single feeling in his life is *chefs kiss* Very Good. It's the kind of story that the second I finished reading, I immediately wanted to write fic for it.

These Games We Play • Transformers • Fic (JazzWave, 321k)
It was the characterisation in this that led me from being a fond fan to dedicatedly obsessed with this rarepair. The setting is wholly bleak, and I don't usually read angst of this sort, but I'm so glad I did this time. I recommend this cautiously, because there's a lot here that might frighten people off, but if you are someone who can enjoy the darker themes, wow — you will not find better. It is masterfully written, with so much heart and thought put into the characters and their slow burning relationship (and trust me, it is the most smouldering and delicious of slow burns) that once you've read it once, you never really stop thinking about it. ♥w♥ This story is up there with my all-time favourites ever.

On the Knees of my Heart • A Song of Ice and Fire • Fic (JonAerys, 4.5k)
This self-contained Dany/Jon story from 2012 is very fulfilling for any fans of the ship who feel burned by the finale that will not be discussed further. And for those who don't care, it's a beautifully written melancholy-tinged piece about war, pining, leadership, and integrity. I love the dynamic as it's written here; there's such a distinct atmosphere and flavour to it all.

Every time I make a rec list, I look at all the stories that I want to recommend and am reminded that this is something I'd like to do more often. lol
quietmoon: Animated artwork of a rotating sun. (sunshine)
Prompt 3: Canon Recommendations — we invite everyone to share with others the books, movies, series, or other media that they love.

There were two ways I could have done this prompt: go super in depth into one thing that I really, really love, or give brief recs for lots of things I love. I decided to go with the latter for today. I'm slow to get into things, and a lot of these are from many years ago, so... if younger me's taste turns out to be questionable... *big shrug* I don't know where I was going with that. Anyway! Cool things!
