Day 12: In your own space, create your own challenge.

Be self-indulgent, and don't think of it as a bad thing, or something you shouldn't do. The nature of creativity is self-indulgence — to give reign to the more mysterious parts of our minds that daydream up amazing new worlds and stories and characters. So let yourself do and make and consume the things that make you happy, and don't feel bad for it.

Nobody deserves to get more enjoyment from your stuff than you. So be kind to yourself, too. (◠‿◠✿)

and don't think of it as a bad thing Ah, you've hit the key point. I know this and yet I still tend to think of a relaxing day spent recharging as "being lazy".

I hope you could get some good (and I'm sure much deserved!) relaxation without nagging yourself too much. We could all do to be a little kinder to ourselves, I think. :)

I have had a long relaxing bath, I am about to make lunch, and the most "productive" thing I plan to do today is upload some Supernatural screengrabs with commentary. And I gave in to my impulse and bought the Game of Thrones Oreos to celebrate… the inevitable horrible deaths of characters I love? (I'm not sure Oreo's marketing people thought this through.) Looking forward to a lovely do-nothing weekend guilt-free.

omg the oreos. I hope they were delicious. I haven't seen any such treats stacked on shelves near me, sadly, otherwise I'd definitely be snacking on those as I watched the episode yesterday.
