some sign-up reminders

With the new year on the horizon, I know a lot of people might be looking to post more on here as a resolution or hope for next year. Here are some challenges that might help with that (or to remember to sign up for that aren't specifically about journalling, but hey ho, lumping things into one post is convenient~)

I'd be remiss not to mention the ever beloved snowflake_challenge. They're looking for volunteers right now, so you want to get involved in a more... involved (oTL) way, there's your chance! You don't need to sign up and there's no deadline to any of the challenges.

There's also inkingitout, sign-ups for which close on 1st January. It's a low-stress closed writing challenge to write 75k+.

 

getyourwordsout is a closed yearly writing challenge with different pledge types and levels. Their information post is a lot more in-depth than I could hope to be, so I'd encourage you to check it out directly if you're interested. Sign-ups close on 15th January.

 

Other things to get your creativity juices flowing/fingers typing away:

• drabblesoup is running a Bittiest Bang in January
• sunshine_challenge has no deadline~
• chocolateboxcomm is gearing up for another year, sign-ups are 1-7th January

Otherwise, you can always do the ever-loved round-up of creative projects or hobbies (what you read, what you watched, where you travelled, what you made), or outline some hopes and wishes for next year. I love round-up posts because it gives me a chance to see some of the things I would have missed through the year. :)
